Mission
The Family Supports Institute Ontario exists to advance the well-being of families as seen through the lens of The Guiding Principles of Family Support.

This will be accomplished this using the tools of Innovative Research, Promotion of Family Friendly Public Policy, Reciprocal Capacity Building and Parent Engagement.

Vision
To dramatically improve the well being of Ontario families and  their children so that no family is below the UN measurements of  healthy families by 2012.

Then consider joing the Family Supports Insitute Ontario Board of Director's; advancing the well being of families together!!

Potential Candidates:

  • Willing to commit to a minimum two year term
  • Become a member of FSIO
  • Be willing to travel to annual strategic planning meetings
  • Be available to devote several hours each month to FSIO Board work & participate in additional committee work
  • Must work in the region where the position is open

Nominees are requested to submit a one page submission containing the following information:

  • A brief bio
  • A summary of academic background and work experience
  • Why you want to become a member of the Board of Directors

All submissions will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee which will make its recommendation in accordance to Section
7.1 Recruitment and Screening of New Board Members, of the FSIO Board Manual.
